We are recruiting for the role of Business Analyst as a permanent position based located in North America.

The ideal candidate will have worked with an airline, or airlines, in North America, will be familiar with flight crew scheduling processes and the drivers of crew pay calculations. Knowledge of IT systems such as Crew Management and Payroll solutions would be an advantage. The successful candidate would work as part of an existing team on systems implementation projects and providing customer support.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Work on product implementation projects in the areas of Requirements Analysis, Rules Configuration, System Testing and Test Support.
  • Work with customers to document their requirements and define the scope of implementations
  • Configure pay rules using the Rainmaker interfaces and automated processes
  • Support the testing and deployment of the Rainmaker Crew Pay solution to customer test environments
  • Support customer testing and training processes throughout the transition to a live system
  • Deal with customer queries, change requests and support needs
  • Liaise with the technical team in Dublin for all technical inputs and software maintenance needs.
  • Identify product enhancements and innovations in collaboration with customers and the technical team in Dublin
  • Travel to customer sites occasionally for face-to-face meetings and working sessions
  • Travel to Dublin occasionally to work with the technical team on new developments.

What we’re looking for

The candidate we are looking for is an experienced airline professional that has worked significantly with flight crew. The ideal person will know crew scheduling and crew services processes within the airline, and will have a strong working knowledge of collective agreements, pay calculations and payroll processes. In addition to strong airline experience the candidate will have a strong interest in IT systems and systems implementation processes and be a good communicator.

  • Strong analysis and problem solving skills
  • IT expertise and experience of IT implementation projects
  • Excellent Interpersonal & communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • Ability to work on own initiative and in a team
  • Able to manage multiple customer relationships, multiple tasks, organise and schedule work
  • Support testing and deployment of new software versions and enhancements.
